The Face Shop Charcoal Phyto Powder in Foam Cleanser

Been using this since August 25. I have 2 huge pimples and a cluster of small ones on my upper right forehead. The ginormous ones are swollen and painful. I admit, I popped it, I just cant resist. I was debating whether to use the snail cream to cure it, but decided against it. I wanted to rest my face from products for a week or two before I use the snail, that way I will be able to get authentic results. *note, initial trial for the snail gave me wonderful results, review up soon.

Going back to The Face Shop Charcoal Phyto powder in Foam Cleanser, whew that was long.

I am happy with this one, so happy I stopped using the other brand. My PIMPLES dried up so fast. Remember I told you that I stopped using face products, which included my derma medication, my acne solution, and creams... everything. So it is just the wash and my regular primer and make up. Im really thinking this product cleared my skin. I tried it on my son, and he got the same result. *note to self, brainwash Josh to grow up like Kim Hyun Joong, anak dapat gwapo ka, anyway.....

Let me try this for another week..... continuation up soon.

Sept. 3. 2011 - I have 1 new pimple and 3 new blackheads (the kind you want to pop). This is good news for me because normally it is a lot worse. Just imagine... only 1. Well I wished there was none, but 1 is ok. I had a very stressful time in the office and I was expecting worse. The pimple is small sooooo i can definitely live with it.
Let me try this for a few more days..... update again soon.

Sept. 7, 2011 - Last entry on this review.

The pimple dried up, the blackheads... well... I popped it and it is now dry. Bad habit.... I know. Well, going back...

I really want to rave on this one. I never knew charcoal was good for skincare, I always thought it is just for grilling and keeping my refrigerator smelling fresh.

I researched on the benefits of charcoal and I am liking what I am reading. There are makeups and body washes too, I wonder if its available locally.

This product is absorbed into the pores and draws out dirt and oil. It clears out impurities blocking the pores. Regular use can reduce or eliminate acne, bumps and blackheads.

I use this once a day. 3 pea-size amount is all I need to lather my whole face. When I use it more than once, I feel a tightening on my skin. I do not want that because it indicates that I'm breaking the natural balance. Skin is supposed to be supple not dry.

(My fingers. - Purtty)
The smell is sweet. The color is ashy charcoal. No beads.

(On Purdy's hand.)

This is a great product for oily skin and sensitive skin.

Will I repurchase? Definitely
